On Sunday morning, I started to climb to quite a high. After weeks of trying and then giving up Ddo gave me a +2 INT tome. In case I want to make another wizard. I was about to pee myself. Right before the tome rule change I will add.

Boy, it feels so good to have a little safety net or a good investment item when they become hard to get at level 1. Then the guild had to log so I saw a jumped in a titan group with Samius.

As you know I am more or less grinding to 20 or praying to get the 7 fingered gloves for Samius. The last time I saw a pair I offered a large scale for them and didn't get them. So when they were put up for roll I was stoked. D20 = 14. Samius wins. Hell yes!

We get the end rewards and I remove my head set to talk to the wife, to share my joy and I see a party member light turning green. I return my headset and explain I was talking to the wife. And ask if he had a question for me. He begins to bitch me out for wanting the gloves. And calling me a waste. Then asks what that will make my umd 15 and drops group.



I was afk the rest of the day more or less. Torrance and I did another quest later but my heart just wasn't in it. And went afk right after.

It is people like this that make me sad. That feel they are entitled to the loot. The kills. And everyone else are just in the way.

But if you manage to get me, the ddo fan boy to stop playing for the day then you are an #$$. And here it is Monday, and I am still more than a little pissed. What does that say?

I feel a little better getting it out to everyone, and I know once is mugshot is on the page then I really will feel better but, still he called Samius a waste! I want to hurt him. Get in a raid and let him roll on something like the VoD goggles and win it and say, Oh your that #$$hat, from that titan remember? Here second place winner. Be nicer to people next time when you don't when the roll, people remember.

He had better hope I am feeling better come show recording time or it might be a show that doesn't make the cast.

So yesterday night as some of you know 4 (or 3.2 depending of how you count Dana) of the Guild did a shroud raid with the SFG. And why it was fun times. There was a comment that made part 2 a little bit harder then it needed to be.

When I was working the tree a fighter I later I humped

made the comment of why wait the Sorc has more mana 1/2 down than Samius will have full we can just go!

Oh, no you didn't! And we had a weird pull and the devil was on the wall.

Good times. So not only did I raise the sorc (that was better than me, bc that is how I hear those kind of shit) twice. Heal him 3 times. When the nice wanker, that made the comment called out for a heal I targeted him and watched him die. I am a mean little Wizard. Once the devil was killed and reset the wall's hp lowered I looked at the sorcs mana and I noticed his blue bar was gone! What? Where did the mana go? I was burning the wall down. Polar Raying the one that doesn't burn so well. So where did the mana go? Death penalties, or trying to kill the Devil I guess. So when the time came I hit the long fire wall and ran to the wall, and waited stacked 4 or 5 firewalls on the magic rock and waited. After a while the last guy died and like magic the crystal was gone.

You know I am glad we had a ruff part 2, because it shows that some times a little thought pays off. That said sometimes it is better to have the machine gun over the six shooter, just don't piss off the guy with the six shooter he might use one of the shots on you. And he might be a hell of a shot!

When does a quest become a chore? Not long ago the hound normal was a quick run for counters. But everyone had their role and and could be counted on Tonya and I were the clrs Chris did the buffing and we could find some random to be a chew toy. Phlor or Crisis had roles for when they were able to run with us but Torrance got her gear and so we are a guild clr down, I have not seen Sql out side of the sands in weeks so the “core” is down to healz.

Also there is 2 different mind sets forming, one were you are grinding for number 20 to get what you want. And the other, do the quest on a more difficult setting and pull the loot you need and let number 20 be for tomes. The problem is lately we have been on a fail mod when it comes to running some of these quests. Hound (difficultly doesn't seem to matter), VoD, Hell we fail 1 or 2 shrouds in a 2 week span now. Why? I think it we are taking thinks for granted. We are running some quests now on 50% auto and when the game gives us a change up we are not ready.

We need to always be ready for the Spanish Inquisition. We are the Defense Guild! We need to make up are mind are we a team or are we just a few guys having a few beers killing pixels.

After much delay I got my Green Steel Bracers made last week. Hell yes! So what are they are Greensteel Bracers With Blindness Immunity, Disease Immunity, +50 sp, +2 Cha Skills - +6 Wisdom, +10 Diplomacy, +10 Haggle, +100 sp, +3 Cha Skills - Concordant Opposition

Now the greensteel creator is not up to date and says 1% to gain hps or spell points on the Concordant Opposition the ddowiki which is up to date says 5%.

So why this for my first two shard item?
Lots of sp that is plus 150 mana total, baby that is nice. All I need now is the ring from Hound and my mana is set for now. Also it gives a few immunizes I was running with out. I like to have a Int item on both my goggles and my cloak slot, b/c I switch my cloak out at times (jungle cloak or Cha +6 mostly) but a extra +5 to my Cha Skills is where it is at! Putting my umd for wands (cure biggest you can buy) at 80% in normal mode. And takes my Umd to a 26.5 when I switch to umd mode Cha +6 cloak, VoM, Golden Cartouche, good enough for a rez scroll but not for a heal. I could try but it would fail a lot! There are a lot of other good divine scrolls out there I can't get in to details but I will be working on a list, and I wouldn't mine help.

So I decided what green steel I was going to make. Gathered the ingredients, small to large, made the blank and was good to good.

Settled in for the grind for the Shard of Power, two shrouds later I was good, no other Shards but those are easy to come by, right?

So part one comes and goes, along with a different part 2 I was down to a crit firewall on the wall that had the earth, and the other to burnable guys (troll and kobold) and Phlor and Torance had the Devil. On my screen the earth and kobold were both dead but not ghosts and the troll was at about 25% when Phlor yells “We have to kill the devil” I yell back “Its not for a lack of trying over here!” it was great. I don't know I have killed all 4 together but is there some kind of they cant be killed if so many are together thing. Once we started to spread them apart and they started to die off and the day was saved.

Part 3 offered up 2 Shards of whatever tear 2 is called. And I was all a glow. Part 3 couldn't have went much smoother it was wam, bam, thank you part 3!

Part 4 went to 3 rounds our dps was a little low but they were good at following a know it all wizard. And Phlor by this point! And after clearing the Gnolls after the 3 round had started (9 mana at the point) I to went to tank Harry! And lived. I didn't do the killing blow or any thing, but it was fun. And buffed my AC/HP can stand in there and I hit more than missed. I didn't do a lot of damage but some is better than none at the end right?

And Part 5 I had the group pull out for a sec while Clrs got mana that probably wasn't needed as he was mostly dead but I was out of spot heals and they were out of heals too, so 30 secs of pool working and then Harry went back to hell and all was good.

Our chests where opened and one T3 Shard and the guy needed it I needed two any way so damn. I crafted T1 and T2, It feels good to have done that. I often take things like that as a sign that I might need to rethink my plan but I believe I am right on this one so I am not worried there maybe it was just not my night but you know there is always Thursday.

So with the "Teleporting errors" last night some of the DG that i was planing to play with was unable to play, grrrrrr!

I know these things happen, but when you work all day, some of us out side in the heat. Some of us brain storming all daylong all we want to do is vent on monster face!!!!

And problems with our game is sad times. =(.

That said what times i did have were good, great even.

Phlor pulled the last shield peace i needed for the Fanion. I think a shield is about to be a very good thing. I might even retrain and move away from 2 weapon fighting. O.k. I probably wont but if glancing blows suck I could! Also Phlor is asking a high plat price (i think i sold him a piece he needed for 2 mill gold), not a unfair price, so i will probably pay with a thank you sir, but it makes me think of some of the talks i have been having with people about things in the DDo store. And i really want the store to be here already!

Then the group more or less fell apart, save Precious and I, so after a super great trade we decided to 2 man PoP looking for loot. We did get one worth wild chest but no cool pulls and that was my night.

I learned how to pull the leaver and get in the room, it worked i think twice. But why not! that also means it is super easy to solo the thing for loot, both with a hireling and maybe with out! So ring runs anyone!

First I have made many of my goals. Samius is capped! Thats right Capped, wow more or less 13 to 16 in a weekend just running in my mind loot stuff with Crisis, sure it was Shroud Prep, and SoS Stuff and also a SoS or 2 but to me and what was in my mind it was loot and xp and maybe tomes. We all need more tomes.

And I also picked up a napkin from the Reaver on the second run, won the roll. Life was sweet. I spent the whole quest, yelling at the sorc that won it not to cast his fire walls so they crossed mine. And if he was going to keep doing it I would just stop casting firewall. He keep casting over mine, so I stopped. He died so I started again. When will people learn, not to cross the streams? Anyway when I won he call me mister FireWall and I felt for a second like a ass but then I thought if he just thought for one second, hey maybe this guy knows something, or maybe I can just humor the idiot, he might not have died. But I got the THING! /*play the Zelda music/* And life is good!

Now life is back to making Plat, running for the last shield piece 7, inferno, bloody hell. Most of them I can run, and know the way for the shield chest not inferno! But Precious knows the way and maybe I can talk him in to teaching me, you want to make plat sell the hard to get shield pieces that is money in the bank!

Also I have some nuts gear, or stuff that seems nuts to me, but didn't sell on the AH, I am not sure what to do, ddotrader.com ? Trade forms of ddo.com, or start a guild bank/store page here and let guildies check stuff out / buy things.

What are some of these items? +6 dex boots rr dwarf, +6 con necklace rr wf lvl 13 so has some other power, +3 acid long bow greater evil outsider bane, +2 flaming burst returning Axe of Righteousness lvl 10

There are more but people are not buying right now I guess so I am sitting on stuff thinking what to do?????

I know that Tobril and I have what we call the Mithral ...... oh I can't think of the word storehouse, depository, stockpile, reserve. Emporium thats the word! Mithral Emporium, where when I get a suit of armor of +x mithral what ever I give it to him. And if I need something made of mithral at a set level y I ask then when I am done I mail it back to who he says to mail it to. It works for us so far. But these high end weapons are not quite the same so I will have to think about it. As all ways please leave comments if you have any?

I think I have made a few decisions.
First I am really try again to work my haggle guy post ddo:u. I took a sec to look at the haggle tables and there is Plat to be made in with a haggle score. I just need to pick which PC to make my haggle bot. Wanbz (with the backwards d, for flare!) my assassin/tempest or my trap/bard prcberght? PriceBeRight for you that can't read crazy!

I think once the new DDO:u drops our guild population will jump some more, and a lot of our wayward guildies will return to Stormreach. And you know how the craze of the new class is, everyone has got to play one, right? Well I am with Pallybot on this one I am making a Fvs toaster. Yep! So Pallybot I need some plans here don't me down. But here is the best part I probably wont play him hardly at all. Lolz!

Ok, I need to get back to work my last think is I picked up my last sos explorer gem last night, so I really plan to be level 16 by the end of next week I need a Tor so I can get my Int cloak from reavers, I need people I trust to slay dragons, so let me know if you are ready. Also I want as many guildies in reaver's to kick me the int cloak asap!!!!!

What it is for Samius, I would wear underwear on my head for +500 mp, you don't think I would guild reaver or anger a pug. Right.......
